Four Teens Arrested After Chase in Stolen Car

Four teenage males are under arrest following a short pursuit and accident on the far north side of Milwaukee Tuesday evening.  Around 6:45 PM, MPD officers spotted a stolen 2010 Acura in the area of N 51st Street and W Silver Spring Drive. The car had been identified in a recent string of armed carjackings.  When the Officers attempted to stop the vehicle and its four occupants, it fled.   After a six minute pursuit, the fleeing vehicle collided with two other automobiles at N 29th Street and W Hampton Avenue.  The four occupants of the stolen  vehicle, two 17-year-old males, and a 16- and 15-year-old male were arrested at the scene.  Police also recovered a loaded semi-automatic pistol from inside the car.  The four teens received non-life threatening injuries in the collision.  Three adults in one of the cars struck by the fleeing vehicle also received non-life threatening injuries.  The lone occupant of the third vehicle in the accident was not injured.  The MPD is continuing to investigate the incident.
