Four police officers injured in accident involving stolen van

MILWAUKEE -- Four Milwaukee police officers were injured when a stolen van struck a police vehicle at N. 35th St. and Brown St. around 3:30 a.m.


Milwaukee police officers were transporting a woman arrested for violating a restraining order early Monday morning. The police van was headed south on N. 35th St. when a stolen van heading west on Brown St. hit the police van. The police van hit a light pole after striking the stolen van. 


All four officers in the van were transported to local hospital, and three have been released from the hospital since the incident. The woman arrested by police was not injured in this crash.


All occupants of the stolen van fled the scene of the accident. Police have arrested three suspects in relation to this crash.
