Four people treated for hypothermia after drunk driver goes into Saukville flood waters

SAUKVILLE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Saukville Police were dispatched to County Highway W just north of State Highway 33 for a car that drove around multiple road closed signs and into flood waters Saturday night around 9:45 p.m.

When officials got to the scene the car was almost complete submerged in water. Six departments responded to the rescue.

Five people in the car were brought safely to dry land. Four of them were taken to the hospital in Grafton for hypothermia.

The 36-year-old driver from Dalton, Wisconsin was arrested for OWI causing injury.
