Four Marquette Students Injured After Gun Goes Off in Sobelman's Restaurant

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at 7:22 pm at Sobelmans located at 1601 W. Wells.

Milwaukee police say it appears that a male in his 20's accidentally discharged a firearm in the vestibule at the front door. Debris caused by the bullet struck 4 people who were also in the vestibule.

The 4 patrons, all Marquette students, 3 females and 1 male, suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention.

The shooter fled the area after discharging his weapon, it is not known at this time if he injured himself. Our investigation into this incident is ongoing
