Former West Allis cop to enters not guilty plea

WALWORTH COUNTY -- Former West Allis police officer Steven Zelich pleads not guilty to Walworth County charges related to hiding the bodies of two women in suitcases.

For now, these are the only criminal charges filed against Zelich. More serious charges related to the deaths of Laura Simonson and Jenny Gamez may be filed in Kenosha County and Minnesota. Those are the places Zelich admitted to causing the death of the two women before packing their bodies in suitcases.

Police say Zelich admitted to dumping the suitcases on the side of a Walworth County highway in the Town of Geneva.
