ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A school official in St. Francis is charged with stealing school funds.
Amanda Bednarski, 40, was a member of the St.Francis School Board and President of the parent-teacher organization for two schools, Deer Creek and Willow Glen.
According to the criminal complaint, Bednarski wrote $26,000 in checks to herself on the PTO's account. The complaint says the parent-teacher organization dissolved last year because of the stolen money.
