Former School Official Jermaine Evans Sentenced to 15 Years

Jermaine Evans will spend the next 15 years of his life behind bars for sexually assaulting a child.

Evans is the former dean of students at a Milwaukee private school.

He pleaded guilty to assaulting a female student several times.

After his release he will also spend 10 years under supervision.

Evans apologized in court during the hearing.

"To the victim, my wife, my children," he said. "To have their lives completely turned upside because of this. It's not fair to them."
