Former Buck Ellis hits buzzer beater to beat Bucks

Bucks fans remember seeing Monta Ellis on the floor during a few losing seasons at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Wednesday night, Ellis caused another Bucks loss, this time while wearing a Dallas Mavericks jersey.

Ellis hit a game-winning fadeaway as time expired to give the Mavs a 107-105 win over the Bucks. Ellis finished with 23, as every member of Dallas' starting five reached double digits.

Brandon Knight scored 25 and added 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the Bucks (10-10). Jabari Parker, named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month earlier in the day, was held to just 8 points.

Khris Middleton scored 21 off the bench for the Bucks, who will be without Ersan Ilyasova for several games after he suffered a nasal fracture in Cleveland Tuesday night. Ilyasova will miss at least three more games.
