WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Health care workers are on the front lines in the war against coronavirus and while the rest of us can best help by staying at home, there are other ways to support the heroes in our community.
One effort unique to Milwaukee is Healthy Eats for Hospital Heroes. The initiative brings freshly prepared meals once a week to COVID-19 professional and support staff at Froedert Hospital.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Shirley Descorbeth shared more about the genesis of the idea and how it’s making a difference.
