Fond du Lac SWAT responds to domestic dispute after neighbor hears someone being thrown around

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Fond du Lac SWAT Team was activated early Saturday morning for a domestic dispute. The call came into police just before 1:30 January 26 after a neighbor at the Court Yard Apartments heard yelling, screaming and what sounded like someone being thrown around. 

The caller told police they heard what sounded like a gunshot.

Officers arrived on scene but did not receive a response from the people inside the apartment. 

SWAT was called and officers were able to contact someone inside by phone. The female victim and a 5-year-old girl left the apartment on their own. The victim said she was assaulted but that the suspect left before police arrived. 

Fond du Lac Police are looking for a 22-year-old Fond du Lac man who is the suspect. There was no evidence that a gun was fired.
