FOND DU LAC COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Very early Thursday morning around 1:30 Fond du Lac Sheriff's Office tried to stop a car on I-41 near County Highway N in Eldorado for a license plate not matching a car.

The car did not stop and sped away north on I-41. 

The Deputy gave chase reaching 115 mph going over 12 miles. Wisconsin State Patrol helped in the pursuit.

The chase ended when the driver exited I-41 at 9th Avenue in Oshkosh.

Authorities are still looking for the car which is identified as a Silver Dodge Magnum with temporary license plate N3667W.
