Fog this morning, warmer and muggier air on the way

Expect widespread clouds and fog this morning with the recent rainfall and low-level moisture. A Dense Fog Advisory is in play until 10 am Tuesday morning. Visibilities will fall under a mile in the advisory locations.

The clouds and fog will eventually get scoured out and the clouds will spread, too. Highs will be determined by how quickly the residual moisture hangs on. Highs should be in the mid and upper 60s, with a few spots touching the low 70s.

A warm air mass will move in with an upper level ridge. This will be accompanied with not only warm temperatures for this time of year, but also showers and storms. Highs should climb back into the 80s by Thursday, and even low to mid 80s will be possible for Friday and Saturday.

Overall, this setup will likely be the warmest and muggiest pattern so far this season.
