Garage considered a total loss after fire in Waukesha
WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- More than 1,000 students from 30 schools got a look at their potential futures at the second annual "Experience the Trades in Waukesha County Expo."
Reps from more than 30 skilled trades companies, including Milwaukee Tool and Husco, were there to answer questions and offer advice.
"There's a lot of innovation, a lot of technical skills, a lot of new technology. When you think of robotics and drones and automation. It's really a different world out there," said Suzanne Kelley, president and CEO of Waukesha County Business Alliance.
Some of the activity's students got to enjoy included virtual welding, buffing the hood of a car, building a secure structure, and surveying with a robotic station.
