Florist surprises veterans at VA Medical Center with flowers

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Smiles and beautiful flowers were in bloom at Milwaukee's VA Medical Center Thursday morning.

Florist Sharon Spidell and a group of volunteers delivered more than 100 bouquets of fresh flowers to the veterans there.

Each year, Teleflora works with local flower shops to gather the bouquets and bring them to places the shops choose.
