Florida Man Arrested For Using Cloned Credit Cards Throughout Wisconsin

WASHINGTON COUNTY - A 21-year-old Florida man was arrested on Monday, March 6th for misappropriation of ID to obtain money. The incident stemmed from an investigation during November of last year where a Town of Addison man has his credit card information unlawfully used to obtain goods and services from a retailer in Kenosha.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the investigation revealed this suspect had been committing credit card crimes with cloned credit cards throughout the state. The suspect was initially arrested by Pewaukee Police On November 9th and given a $10,000 cash bond. Another subject posted the bond the following day and the 21-year-old had been out of custody.

The suspect appeared in court a second time in Waukesha County, this time not in custody, on March 6th for further proceedings on the Pewaukee incident. It was at that point Washington County investigators patiently waited for the conclusion of that proceeding and subsequently took him into custody for their incident.

He now remains in custody in Washington County on another $10K bond.
