Flight For Life Called To Washington County After Rollover Accident

WASHINGTON COUNTY - The Washington County Sheriff's Office was notified of a single vehicle roll-over accident early this morning around 3 a.m. in the Town of Addison.

Sheriff's dispatch was advised that a male subject was lying in the road on Hwy 41, a half mile north of County Highway K. The 23-year-old male from Allenton was unresponsive when deputies and personnel from Allenton and St. Lawrence Fire Departments arrived on scene.

 The man was believed to be the sole operator of the vehicle. Flight for life was requested to the scene and he was flown to Froedtert Hospital with unknown injuries.

A preliminary investigation into the cause of the accident revealed that the man had been driving northbound on Highway 41 when he entered the median and then entered the southbound lanes of travel before rolling his vehicle onto the roadway.

Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor to the cause of the accident.
