First road project for Foxconn starts next week

RACINE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The first road project in association with the new Foxconn Plant will start next week in Racine County.

Wisconsin DOT is rebuilding the east and west Frontage Roads along I-94 between County KR and WIS 20 in Racine County. Work will begin Monday with the road closures going into place on Wednesday, January 10.

Utility work is already taking place in the area and is being coordinated with the reconstruction work on the frontage roads. The project will run from just south of WIS 20 to just North of County KR.
