Firefighters hand out treats at Messmer Saint Rose School in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee firefighters had a sweet job this Halloween.
They visited classrooms at Messmer Saint Rose School, carrying a big box of trick-or-treat candy.
They went from classroom to classroom handing out the goodies. Some of the kids were in costume, some weren't, but it didn't matter.
Everyone got treats and a little break from school work.
The firefighters worked with the sheriff's office to hand out the candy.
It's meant to be a positive interaction with kids at something other than a fire.
