Firefighters battle blaze at 17th and Windlake Friday morning

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department (MFD) was called to the scene of a fire near 17th and Windlake Friday morning, Oct. 15

Officials add that additional fire crews were called to help put out the blaze Friday.

Records indicate that all occupants of the residence were outside of the building when MFD crews arrived.

Authorities say one firefighter was transported to a local hospital to be evaluated following the fire.

The Milwaukee Fire Department and Milwaukee Police Department are reportedly investigating the cause of the fire.
