Fire in duplex displaces 10 on Milwaukee’s north side

MILWAUKEE, WI (CBS 58) -- Ten people were put out of their Milwaukee home this morning due to a fire in the attic.   The fire was reported around 9:25 AM in a duplex near W Lloyd and N 46th Streets.   Milwaukee Fire Department crews have the fire under control within 15 minutes.  Officials said the fire caused moderate damage to the home and the Red Cross was called to assist the three adults and seven children living in the duplex.   Fortunately, no one was injured.   The cause of the fire is under investigation.
