MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Authorities say the fire started in a duplex on the city's east side early Wednesday morning.
The fire spread to another duplex near N. Cambridge Ave. and E. Windsor Pl.
In total, ten people got out of the homes safely.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. There’s no word on a damage estimate at this time.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A fire broke out in a home on Milwaukee’s east side early Wednesday morning.
Fire officials say it started in the back of the home near N. Cambridge Ave. and E. Windsor Pl. around 2:15 a.m.
Six people safely got out of the home. The fire then spread to a neighboring house. Four people safely evacuated the second home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. There’s no word on a damage estimate at this time.
