MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Despite economic gains, many are struggling with finances, that according to financial expert Brad Allen from Drake & Associates who joined us on Thursday, April 18.
He discussed strategies to improve financial health as part of April being Financial Literacy Month.
He stressed the need for better financial understanding, noting that over 43% of Americans fail basic financial literacy tests. Allen advised on debt reduction techniques, spending tracking and the importance of saving for retirement.
