At least for this week, Wisconsin is the center of the golf world as the 117th U.S. Open in Erin Hills get underway. The practice rounds kicked off Monday morning. They'll last through Wednesday before the actual tourney starts on Thursday. The USGA says 35-thousand people are expected to see all the action daily.
