Filmmaker Donates Books

A filmmaker's cross-county trip to perform acts of kindness and inspire others is making a stop in Milwaukee today.

Sue Vicory delivered hundreds of books to Next Door this morning.

The documentary’s filmmakers from Kansas City is stopping in 48 states this year to spread awareness about the difference one person can make in somebody's life.   Along the way, Sue and her husband are recruiting volunteers to perform various acts of kindness.

"We're here today with a group that has driven in from the Midwest and we're very very proud of them to be able to witness the delivery of the books and read to the kids and we're just super excited to be here,” said Vicory.

Next Door provides early childhood education programs and parent support services.

The donated books will be used in the agency's Books for Kids program.
