MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- On Milwaukee's south side Sunday, June 7, a culture was celebrated with a parade!
This was the Fiesta Puerto Rico Parade, which rolled down Oklahoma Avenue.
The parade led to a festival at Humboldt Park, featuring authentic food, artisans and the rhythm of salsa and Bomba music!
CBS 58 asked one enthusiastic group what it means to them, to be Puerto Rican.
And that was pride!
Sunday's parade and festival in Milwaukee commemorates the National Puerto Rican Day Parade, which is next Sunday in New York.
If you're anywhere near Humboldt Park and want to partake, Milwaukee's festival continues until 7 p.m.
