Halloween weekend and the first weekend of November is fast approaching. New to the forecast a few light showers may be possible for Halloween during the evening and overnight hours. Not everyone will see those showers but it's not a bad idea to grab the umbrella if you're trick-or-treating. Temperatures will also cool into the 40s so go ahead and grab the jacket just in case.
This weekend is peak fall color around southeast Wisconsin as well. Most of our local counties are listed at peak color or nearing peak color. The northern part of the state is now past peak so don't travel too far north.
Then on Sunday Daylight Saving Time comes to an end. At 2 AM Sunday morning the clocks will "fall back" an hour to 1 AM. That means the sunrise and sunset times will be about an hour earlier. The sunrise time Sunday morning is around 6:30 AM but the early sunset is what no one likes and sets at 4:41 PM.
