Festive times ahead for Lowlands Hospitality Group w/World Cup, Belgian Bier Fest, & 20th anniversary
Lowlands Group WAUWATOSA (CBS 58)--It's almost like a trifecta of fun and celebration for Lowlands Hospitality Group. First, all the special promotions to go with the upcoming World Cup games, including food and drink promotions. Also, there's the debut of Lowlands Belgian Bier Fest happening on Saturday, June 13th. It's a one-day celebration of one of the world's most revered bier cultures. The event will bring more than 25 Belgian brewers to Wisconsin. Guests have the opportunity to experience at least a hundred Belgian biers, meet the brewers behind them, and hear stories about the craft. There are two different sessions to sign up for, including noon to 3 PM and 4 to 7 PM. The location will be at the Tosa Village Hart Mills parking lot at 7735 Harwood Avenue. This big gathering is part of Lowland's 20th anniversary year. The company opened its flagship restaurant, Cafe Hollander, on Downer Avenue in 2006. The overall concept was inspired by Dutch grand cafes and Belgian bier culture. Since then, Lowlands has grown to eight restaurants across five cities and employs nearly 800 people.
