Father of Michael Bell buys ad in USA Today

KENOSHA -- Many are opening up a copy of the November 8th USA Today to find a full page ad highlighting deaths of three Wisconsin men while in police custody. The ad is paid for by Micheal Bell, the father of a man who died during an incident with the Kenosha Police Department.

Michael Bell's son was shot and killed in 2004 during a scuffle with Kenosha police after a traffic stop. The shooting was ruled justified by the Kenosha County District Attorney's Office, but Bell never accepted that finding.

Recently Bell has been pushing for independent reviews of officer-involved deaths.
