17-year-old killed in shooting near 24th and Wells
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place Thursday, Nov. 23 in the area of 24th and Wells.
The shooting, which MPD says occurred at around 10:55 a.m., resulted in the death of a 17-year-old victim due to a gunshot wound.
The teen was identified Friday as Al'Jevon Wilkins.
As of now, the events leading to the shooting remain unclear, and authorities are in the process of investigating.
