Fatal Hit-and-Run off of 27th and Burleigh

Police are investigating a hit-and-run that killed at 57-Year-old Milwaukee man.

It happened Saturday night around 10 p.m. off of 27th and Burleigh.

Police tell us the 57-year-old victim was crossing the street when a car going Westbound on Burleigh hit him.

He died at the scene. Police said they still looking for the driver.

Those who work nearby hope someone comes forward.

\"I think they will catch the person if someone speaks up. People have to stop being so silent about stuff like this, stop worrying about the snitches. People need to stand up and speak out,\" said Joe Newman.
