Fatal Crash Occurs in Fond du Lac County on Interstate 41

A fatal crash occurred in Fond du Lac County on Interstate 41 Northbound south of Johnson for reported crash with injuries on Tuesday.

The incident happened at 11:37 AM.

Upon arrival crews found three vehicles involved, which included a semi-tractor trailer.

One patient was unable to be revived and died on the scene, the driver of the semi-tractor trailer was uninjured.

Another vehicle which was not directly involved in the crash sustained minor damage due to flying derbies. 

None of the Interstate 41 N/B continues to be closed while Wisconsin State Patrol and Fond du Lac Sheriff evaluate the accident scene.

Fond du Lac Police are assisting with traffic control which includes rerouting N/B traffic off at Military and back on I-41 north of the crash site.
