Family Night practice sets tone for Packers season

GREEN BAY - The Packers' Family Night tradition continues.

70,000 fans packed Lambeau Field Friday night to see the green and gold practice, an annual tradition that builds hype for the season ahead.

First year coach Matt LaFleur said the atmosphere was "pretty incredible", while also giving the Packers plenty of tape to look at leading into next Thursday's preseason opener against the Texans. Young players were also impressed by the support from Packers faithful.

The Texans will have combined practices with the Packers Monday and Tuesday in Green Bay. Kids are encouraged to bring bikes to practice so that the Texans players can experience the same tradition the Packers have during training camp.
