Family-friendly 'Summer Kids Dream Film Series' returns to local Marcus Theatres locations
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Families looking for some indoor entertainment for kids and parents alike can look forward to a series of movies at several theaters throughout the Southeast Wisconsin area.
The "Summer Kids Dream Film Series," presented by Marcus Theatres, was announced in a Tuesday, May 16 press release.
It aims to offer families some relief from the summer heat and an escape into some fun storytelling. Each week from June 13 through Aug. 5, classic family films will be screened across nine locations in the area.
These theaters include the Marcus Theaters locations at Bistroplex Southridge in Greendale, Hillside in Delafield, Majestic of Brookfield, Menomonee Falls, North Shore, Renaissance in Sturtevant, Ridge in New Berlin, South Shore in Oak Creek and Southgate in Milwaukee.
Viewers can experience each film for an individual ticket price of $3 or opt for the "Kids Dream Passport," granting access to all eight films for $15.

- June 27 - July 1: “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile” (PG)
- July 4 - 8: “The Amazing Maurice” (PG)
- July 11 - 15: “Minions: The Rise of Gru” (PG)
- July 18 - 22: “Mummies” (PG)
- July 25 - 29: “DC League of Super-Pets” (PG)
- August 1 - 5: “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” (PG)
