MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The families of Jacob Blake and Alvin Cole were in Chicago Thursday, Oct. 29, to help lead a "Get Out the Vote" rally.
The Reverend Jesse Jackson spoke to the families of men and women killed or wounded during encounters with police.
The families of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor were also represented.
Jacob Blake Sr. was one of the speakers. His son was seriously wounded by police gunfire in Kenosha.
"Are we gonna let this happen some more, or are we gonna go out and vote? I love every family that came here today, 'cause they're my family."
Jacob Blake Sr. has called for voters to hold officials accountable for ending police violence and promoting health care, education and jobs.
