Falls students produce anti-bullying PSA

Menomonee Falls -- A group of 10th grade students at Menomonee Falls High School created an anti-bullying public service announcement (PSA).

\"It just seemed like it would be the most effective thing to put out there cause it's so common nowadays,\" said Dolan Wargin, 16.

Wargin directed and wrote the video and his fellow classmates, Kobey Johnson, 15, and Eric Merten, 15, also pitched in.  All three acted in the PSA.

\"When doing it...it didn't feel like I was doing that good of a job,\" explained Merten, who played the bully.  \"But then when I actually watched the video it's like whoa that's what I look like, that's what I'm doing to him it was kind of surprising.\"

The message behind the video is to encourage using \"words, not fists\" in order to stand up to bullies and tell someone else, like a teacher or principal about the problem.

\"If you see someone getting bullied just stop it no matter who they are, no matter if you just never talked to them before, you might get a strong friend out of it you never know,\" said Johnson.

They edited the two minute video as part of their Media Studies project.  It hasn't been graded yet put the students are hoping to get an \"A.\"
