Entertainment Giant Marcus Corporation Takes over Milwaukee's Safe House

A well known Milwaukee restaurant known for its avant-garde ambiance has a new owner.

The Marcus Corporation took over the 50 year old Safe House on Tuesday.

You might know the name Marcus when it comes to theaters. But they also specialize in restaurants and hotels. In fact they own the Pfister Hotel located in downtown Milwaukee.

The atmosphere here is very unique and mysterious. You even need a password to enter otherwise you might have to work hard to earn a place at the table.

The new owners insist the changes will be subtle. They really don't want to tinker too much with what the previous owner Dave Baldwin did.

One change you may notice soon will be some additions with local flavor on the menu.
