Entering a Contest Pays off Student Loans

A form student took a chance by entering in a contest, now her student loan is paid off.

Ashley Waltho was paying her student loan online, when she decided to enter a student loan forgiveness contest.

Her 100 word essay along with four others across the country won.

Rapper Dee 1 paid off her $3,300 loan to Sallie Mae.             

Waltho graduated from UW Milwaukee. She now works as an executive director for a nursing home.
