In Delafield, American Legion Post 196 observed Memorial Day with an 'Empty Chair' ceremony at their Legion Hall.
The empty chair is a physical symbol of the thousands of American P.O.W. and MIAs still unaccounted for.
Post leadership says it's a reminder to push for their release as well as to encourage the return of remains of any American serviceperson who died while acting in defense of their country.
