La Prensa Asociada reporta que Michels Corporation del condado de Dodge sometió una oferta. El plan es construir un muro de 2,000 millas.
Unas 265 compañías han respondido al llamado de la Oficina de Aduanas y Protección Fronterizo, según la página web Federal Business Oportunities.
La compañía Michels Corporation se negó a dar comentario.
Estiman que costará $6.5 millones por milla para construir una cerca que detendrá a las personas de cruzar a pie y $1.8 millones para cada milla de barreras para vehículos.
