MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee County is reaching out to help people in the community apply for jobs.
Tuesday, Dec. 14, Employ Milwaukee is celebrating the opening of a new satellite location. You can find it at City on a Hill, near 23rd and Kilbourn.
The two organizations teamed up with St. Christopher's Episcopal Church to make it happen.
The goal is that this will serve as a win-win for employers and jobseekers in search of well-paying positions.
"We're amplifying our impact, and this is just one example of how Employ Milwaukee is amplifying its impact by bringing. We're meeting them where they are, we're bringing our services into the community," said Chytania Brown, president and CEO of Employ Milwaukee. "As the mayor mentioned, we're in the community, but the people who need us the most, they're not beating our doors down, so we're coming into the neighborhoods."
Employ Milwaukee plans to establish more satellite location partnerships throughout the community.
