Emergency crews dealing with extreme cold

 MILWAUKEE - The extreme cold weather also takes it's toll on emergency responders. Police and firefighters have to be prepared to be outdoors for a lengthy period of time in these conditions. Battling fires is the most difficult thing for firefighters to deal with in extreme cold, that's why extras crews are sent to offer relief to firefighters. Emergency crews are seeing a lot of exposure cases in these conditions. Officials say it only takes a matter of minutes for frost bite and hypothermia to set in when it's this cold outside. They say the best way to stay safe is to stay indoors.
