Eight injured after shuttle bus collides with semi in Sheboygan County

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Sunday, August 12 around 11:30 p.m. Sheboygan County Dispatch received 911 calls of a crash with injury near "Five Corners" at the intersection of County Road V and County Road I in Lima.

A shuttle bus with nine people was driving north and did not stop for a stop sign. A semi driving east was unable to avoid the shuttle. Powerlines were damaged during the crash and became a hazard during the rescue.

Eight people on the shuttle were taken to the hospital with injuries, but none of them were severe. 

The driver of the shuttle was cited for failing to stop for a stop sign.
