Early risers greeted with snow in Milwaukee area Friday morning

Snow started falling in Milwaukee and West Allis around 5:20 a.m. Friday morning. Heavy, wet snowflakes came down for a good 45 minutes in the area. It melted immediately after hitting the pavement. Some of the snow was sticking in gardens, but melted within a few minutes.
