Milwaukee Firefighters responded to a garage fire on Milwaukee’s south side early this morning. The fire was reported around 2:30 AM at S 11th Street and W Windlake Avenue. The area was cordoned off for a time because of downed power lines. The damage to the garage and vehicle inside is estimated at $37,000 dollars. Two neighboring garages each received about $1,000 worth of damage to the siding. No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
