OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Oak Creek School District has confirmed that a staff member was driving the car that hit the two students. That staff member called 911 and stayed on scene.
The condition of the two students is unknown.

OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two Oak Creek High School students are in the hospital after police say they were hit by a vehicle Wednesday morning.
Oak Creek Police say they were called to a car vs. pedestrian accident in the area of E. Puetz at Mayhew in front of Oak Creek High School around 7:10 a.m.
Police say there is no update on the students' conditions. The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene.
A note from the school to parents said that any students traumatized by the situation will have access to Guidance and Pupil Service Teams.
The accident is still under investigation.
