Driver arrested for OWI after backing into woman at gas station pinning her against another car

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Saturday afternoon around 3:15 p.m. the Dodge County Sheriff's Office was called to the parking lot of a BP gas station on State Highway 67 for a car that hit a pedestrian.

The car was backing out a parking spot when it hit a woman standing next to another car 30 feet away. The car pinned the pedestrian against the other vehicle causing serious injuries. 

The woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. 

The driver of the car that caused the incident ran away and was acting suspicious near garbage cans at the gas station. The driver was arrested for their third OWI.
