Dr. Deborah Birx to come to Madison Aug. 31

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Dr. Deborah Birx will be in Madison Monday, Aug. 31 to talk to Governor Tony Evers and participate in a round table with community and state health officials.
Birx is an American physician and diplomat serving as the United States Global AIDS Coordinator for Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, according to the U.S. Department of State. Birx is also an aid in the whole of government response to COVID-19 as the Coronavirus Response Coordinator.
