MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Board of School Directors has voted to approve May 20, 2018, as Dr. Darienne Driver's last day as Superintendent.
"The impact of your work as Superintendent has had an immeasurable impact not only on the members of the MPS family, but on the entire Milwaukee community," said Larry Miller, District 5 Director and Board Vice President to Dr. Driver.
Dr. Keith Posley will begin serving as Interim Superintendent starting May 21.
The Board says they are grateful to Dr. Driver for her leadership as Superintendent of the District and wishes her well on her journey forward.Â
