Downtown Milwaukee is filled with St. Patrick celebrations

Milwaukee's Irish intersection has two stages of live entertainment. It's made of The Harp and Trinity bars on Walker Street. The party there started at 6 a.m.

Carl Johnson was at Trinity with a group of friends. He was dressed up as a leprechaun.

\"I decided I might as well use my height to my advantage, go out, hang out and have a good time with everybody, give every body good pictures,\" Johnson said.

Johnson is 4'11 and said he loves everything about this holiday. \"Everybody has a good sense of humor,\" he said. \"It's good camaraderie.\"

Mary Mulvaney Gibeaut said she had been out since the morning. \"Who knows where the rest of the day will end? We're having a good time, enjoying it, great people, great service, great times,\" she said.

Feliks Zajaczkowski said St. Patrick's day is all tradition. \"We do this every year,\" he said. I always paint my beard green, just for today. This is my favorite holiday.\"

For people like Jeff Traylor, the celebration is more than just beer. \"I actually like the food, I like going out to breakfast and lunch today.\"

Traylor was dressed up for the occasion. \"My outfit? It's casual Friday kilt so it's straight black, no plaid.\"

For people who are worried about getting home safe tonight, there are free bus rides.
