Donate bottled water and get a sub sandwich during Firehouse Subs' H20 for Heroes event on August 4

WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Firehouse Subs is giving away sub sandwiches to those who donate bottled water as part of their H20 for Heroes event. 

The bottled water collection drive takes Saturday, August 4. In exchange for donating one unopened 24-pack of bottled water, customers will receive a medium sub. The bottled water benefits local fire and police departments, emergency victims, senior and community centers, and more. There is a limit of one medium sub per person, per case of unopened 24-pack bottled water. 

This is the seventh year for the collection drive. In 2017, more than 786,000 bottles of water were donated. The restaurant is hoping to increase collections in 2018. 

Firehouse Subs has nearly 20 locations in Wisconsin including in Wauwatosa, Elm Grove, Waukesha, Brown Deer, and Menomonee Falls. To find a location near you, please click here.
